Concept
Smokehouse BBQ and Brews is a premier restaurant experience located in historical and scenic Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. Their previous website was severely dated and in need of a complete redesign and reconfiguration to bring it up to date so it could properly represent the brand. The new design needed to be user-friendly, easily navigable, and purpose-structured to efficiently display the restaurant menu to visitors, all while effectively conveying the overall theme and feel of the dining experience. The desired aesthetic was modern country chic.
Solution
The new website is sleek and modern in its look and presentation without sacrificing the down-home, folksy atmosphere and themed-information branding that represents the business, its products, and overall culture. The site is built in WordPress for ease of use and extensive customizability, with its customized theme built atop an integral responsive framework for effortless transitioning to mobile and tablet displays. We integrated a pre-existing electronic customer mailing list solution into the site function, and our staff photographer provided beautiful, updated images of select food items as well as the restaurant's interior and exterior. An additional blog function was also incorporated to highlight industry and restaurant news and events.
